Due to coronavirus precautions, you can schedule a virtual home energy assessment rather than an in-person assessment. However, you will need to be able to access your attic and any crawlspaces in order to get the most value from your assessment. See the Steps to Take tab at the top to see more details.

Why is an assessment no-cost to me? And a discount on insulation?   Eversource deducts a small amount from your electricity bill each month that funds the program to promote energy efficiency. You are eligible for a free assessment every two years. Based on the assessment, the assessor will make recommendations on insulation and other improvements and recommend contractors.
